Now, I hear that it’s pretty normal for someone who is pregnant to take part in what’s called ‘nesting’ activity. In other words, getting the home ready for the new arrival.

Though I’ve always been a big fan of redecorating and remodeling our house, I haven’t done any major projects in the last year or two. Recently, the bug to make some changes bit me and I’ve been a busy busy lady.

The plan – to empty out my current office and library of all of its furniture and most of its contents (pics below):

A glimpse into some of the misc stuff being collected and prepped for the yard sale

…And to replace the office with a nursery for the babies..and the library will soon become our new office. I’ve had an absolute blast spring cleaning/emptying out the two rooms and finding replacement furniture for each. There’s something about picking out colors, room pieces, etc…that’s just a ton of fun.

In two weeks, the old items will be out in a yard sale that I’m holding..and any leftovers..are then being donated to charity. Starting with the last weekend in the month, the new furniture will be arriving to set up the two new spaces. Can’t wait! J
