About thetreadmilldiaries

When someone feels strong physically, they feel strong in every aspect of their existance - J Michaels
The treadmill diaries is a compilation of personal anecdotes and various resources focused on achieving the Holy Grail for many– better physical health and ultimately a better life. I don’t claim to be an expert. I’m just someone who has been there, has lost more than 105 lbs, and has approximately 10 more pounds to go. I know how much work changes of this type can be…and I want to help others make their goals a reality.
I personally have found inspiration, tips, tricks and expertise in places I would never have expected while on this path. And, I’ve learned the hard way that there’s no single, silver bullet that’ll do the trick. It’ll take many little, sustainable lifestyle changes to get you and keep you where you want to be.
Through this forum, I’ll share all that I’ve picked up along the way with anyone who can benefit from it AND who is interested. Here’s a preview of what’s in store:
- Thoughts and real-life anecdotes intended to get you thinking in new ways about pursuing and maintaining a healthy, lifestyle change
- Featured foods, products and recipes that first and foremost taste great but also are good for you.
- Tools, products, and services to support the new, improved you
- Ways to find / maintain inspiration while on your journey
July 2012 Update: Our family welcomed two boys into our family on June 1, 2012 and said goodbye to two angel baby boys on May 17, 2011. I am now working to rehab my body from both pregnancies – after having been on rest for most of the last one. I have approximately 40 lbs to lose to get back to my 2010 pre-pregnancy weight. Failure is not an option.

Thanks for following our blog! We’re following back:) We look forward to reading about your fitness journey:)

Congrats and welcome to the blogosphere! I lost 60+ lbs (twice) but have been 5 lbs away from my goal weight for the last four years or so. Most normal people would have just settled for a new goal but I’m a stubborn broad I guess.
Currently doing P90X so we’ll see!! All the best to you! (And if I can figure out how to “follow” you, I will.)
Cheers!
Charlene
Thanks for the warm welcome and the well wishes, Charlene. I respect that you’ve stuck with your original goal. Here’s to you nailing it this year. Ciao
